It specifically looks at a condition called Syndrome X which 1 in 5 of us suffer from although we normally don't know it. Syndrome X was not well known before BioVite published it and it's solution - the X-Vite Diet Plan. In essence Syndrome X is one step before type 2 diabetes. A sufferer who consumes white (simple) carbohydrates or sugar can expect their blood sugar levels to spike and then drop very quickly. The drop is due to too much insulin (the fat storing hormone) which converts all of the sugar into fat. This leaves the person feeling very sluggish and ultimately hungrey before they should be.
